Traditional vitamin C needs a pH of around 3 to work. On a freshly shaved jaw, that is a formula that stings.
The Serum uses sodium ascorbyl phosphate, the stable form, working at pH 6.5, close to skin’s own. It stays stable in the bottle, it does not oxidise orange, and it does not punish skin that is shaved most days.
